Capital Projects Update
As part of the district’s commitment to preserve the integrity and operational efficiencies of the buildings and grounds, the following capital improvement projects have been approved by voters and will be completed in the coming years. Please be sure to check this page often for updates on these projects, including photos from all phases of construction.
Districtwide
- Remove asbestos floor tile
- Install door-ajar security system
- Parking lot paving/curbing at multiple sites
- Install Building Management System
- Install clock and public address system
- Replace fire panels/CO detectors
- Update security systems, including
- cameras and door access systems
- Install energy-efficient ceilings and lighting
FJC
- Replace HVAC system
- Repair south portable roof
- Renovate bathrooms, several to meet ADA compliance
- Install AC in cafeteria
JAE
- Replace boilers, burners, old piping throughout
