High School Trio Named National Merit Commended Students
Three Rocky Point High School seniors have been named Commended Students in the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program.
Kaylie Michael, Allyson Opitz and Zen Pinkenburg have each been recognized for the exceptional academic promise demonstrated on their outstanding performance on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. They each received a Letter of Commendation from the National Merit Scholarship Program. The three students are very involved in all aspects of their high school careers and recognize that this achievement is vital to the advancement of educational excellence.
“We are pleased to highlight these students for their commitment to excellence,” said Principal James Moeller. “This achievement indicates their potential for academic success.”
