Learning To Reset Behaviors at RPMS
Rocky Point Middle School sixth graders welcomed School Resource Officer Karl Allison to their health classes this week for presentations on bullying.
Officer Allison’s talk and follow-up question and answer session included ways to identify bullying and how students can learn to reset their behaviors both in their daily interactions as well as online practices. He noted the importance of providing students the tools and resources necessary to safely navigate difficult situations that they may encounter in their school days and beyond.
Officer Allison’s visit goes hand in hand with the Suffolk County Police Department’s goal to build better relationships with schools to provide students with the ability to develop close relationships with their SRO.
