Thank you to our Rocky Point High School student-musicians who took part in the Rocky Point Fire Department 9/11 Memorial Ceremony at the memorial in Shoreham.

Students from Rocky Point High School’s Band performed prior to the annual ceremony under the leadership of music teacher Amy Schecher. They are Danni Gervasi, Megan Liselli, Micah Santiago (flute), Keith Bernier, Ashley O'Brien (oboe), Melody Guzman (clarinet), Jack Grable (alto sax), Oliver Fiore (tenor sax), William Lin (baritone sax), Olivia Carley, Alexa LoPiccolo (trumpet), Jeremy Moriarty (horn), Justin Moriarty (baritone) and Keith Hilts (trombone).

Rocky Point Honor Choir, who sang the “Star-Spangled Banner” under the direction of music teacher Jessica Spitz, are Maya Alexander, Derek Bergmann, Olivia Carley, Serena Carley, Angelina DeRosa, Sebastian Garske, Isabella Kelly, Maya MacCarthy, John Nadeau, Katie Romano, Madison Smith and Don Wilkinson.

The Rocky Point School District congratulates these students and educators for their excellence and professionalism in honoring those affected by the events of 9/11.
