Song lyrics like “Here Comes the Sun,” “It’s a Beautiful Day!” and “Simply the Best” dot a colorful bulletin board outside of Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction Dr. Aaron Factor’s office, highlighting ways to bring a positive vibe to the work of the Rocky Point School District’s Strategic Planning committee.

Dozens of staff members and student leaders continue to plan and define the goals and target completion dates of specific actions in four core focus areas: Academic Supports, Community Engagement, Student-Centered Learning, and Wellness and Climate.

“There is much excitement and collaboration from all those involved as we move forward in an optimistic manner,” Dr. Factor said. “The lively discussions and confluence of ideas are guiding the successes of the District.”
