A Shining Example of the Dedication, Professionalism and Heart That Defines the Rocky Point Family
During the recent snowy conditions, Theresa Fogal, a bus driver for First Student and the Rocky Point School District, demonstrated extraordinary skill and composure. Her skilled navigation of her bus was captured on camera by a resident and has since been admired by many.
Superintendent of Schools Dr. Scott O’Brien and Board of Education President Jessica Ward presented Ms. Fogal with a certificate of appreciation at the Jan. 13 Board of Education meeting.
“Theresa’s actions that day were a powerful reminder of the responsibility and care our transportation staff carry every single day,” Dr. O’Brien said. “In the face of inclement weather, she ensured that her students remained safe, calm and cared for – a feat that deserves all our admiration and gratitude.”
When asked about her impressive performance, Theresa humbly shared, “First Student is a great company, and I was trained by the best!”
“These words speak volumes about Theresa’s character – not only her humility but also her respect and appreciation for her training and the team that supports her,” Dr. O’Brien added.
On behalf of all of Rocky Point – especially our students, thank you!
