Rocky Point’s Math Masters!

Nine Rocky Point Middle School students attended the "Math Masters Invitational" at Udall Road Middle School in West Islip on March 21. The eighth graders – Colbie Burke, Chris Callahan, Vanesa Coniglione, Sena Donnelly, Patrick Lee, Jay MacCarthy, Lucas MacCarthy, Artem Shulga and Ethan Worksman – attended along with teachers Ryan Stern and Victoria Fabrizio.

Lucas MacCarthy tied for first place during the individual round and placed third during the tie breaker. There were more than 100 students from approximately 14 schools who participated in the event.
