RPHS Celebrates National Honor Society Induction

Rocky Point High School math teacher Ms. Jen Engellau was selected as the teacher who made the most impact on the Class of 2025 as selected by the National Honor Society. Ms. Engellau was the Guest of Honor at the Induction ceremony.
“Ms. Engellau gave a wonderful speech highlighting her own experiences growing up in Rocky Point, being inducted into National Honor Society and how those experiences helped to craft her career path which led her to return to the very high school she grew up in and emerge as a passionate educator who has had an immeasurable impact on the students who have passed through her classroom doors,” Principal James Moeller said. “Her dedication to her students and the community is unparalleled, she offers extra help on a daily basis, makes herself available to her students at a moment’s notice and maintains a reputation among her colleagues as the consummate professional.”
