With words of appreciation and gratitude, eight individuals were lauded for their contributions to the Rocky Point School District and community at the second annual Rocky Point Day on May 10.

IMP(P)ACT – Integrity, Making a Difference, Positive Attitude, Perseverance, Acceptance, Collaboration + Team – is an acronym for the Rocky Point School District’s values. The recipients were honored by the person who championed each of them for reflecting these values. 
Congratulations to Patricia Alberti, Tara Black, Yuuki Donnelly, Laura Flanagan, Darren Goldstein, Nichole Schirtzer, Colleen Van Horne and Jennifer Zaffino. They were each gifted with a wooden keepsake box with their name engraved on top and a laminated copy of the nominator’s speech inside.
