FJC’s Community Kindness in Action

Students and staff at FJC believe in the power of community and they are incredibly grateful for the support of two wonderful organizations that have made a meaningful difference for students this year.
AGAPE Meals for Kids works to combat childhood hunger and food insecurity right here on Long Island. Each week, they’ve generously provided kid-friendly food packs to some students in Rocky Point. These thoughtful deliveries have made a real impact and ensured that students are nourished and ready to learn.
In addition, EJ’s PJs, an organization with a mission to provide pajamas to those in need, donated brand new pajamas to several of FJC students, bringing warmth, comfort and smiles.
“We are incredibly thankful for community partnerships like these that reflect the spirit of kindness and care,” said Principal Jason Westerlund. “Together, we are helping our students feel supported, safe and seen.”
