Winter Sports Athletic Achievements

The Rocky Point School District Board of Education, along with Director of Health, Physical Education, Athletics, and Intramurals Jonathon Rufa, proudly recognized the outstanding achievements of its student athletes during their winter seasons. This honor reflects not only athletic excellence, but also a strong commitment to academics, teamwork, and leadership. Across a wide range of sports, Rocky Point athletes earned prestigious distinctions, including NYSPHSAA Scholar-Athlete Team Awards, All-County and All-State honors, league and sectional championships, and individual program awards. Notable highlights included exceptional performances in swimming, wrestling, basketball, cheer, track and field, bowling and unified sports, showcasing the depth and talent of the district’s athletic programs.
