RPHS Student Wins First Place in Community Challenge

Rocky Point High School’s Trevor Green has been awarded first place in the Long Island Spring Sports Heroes Video Challenge, recognizing his impact beyond athletics through community service and leadership.
Sponsored by Team Up 4 Community, the challenge invites Long Island student-athletes, teams and organizations to highlight how they are giving back during the spring season. The initiative encourages student-athletes to step beyond competition and demonstrate leadership through service to a cause or individuals in need.
Trevor was recognized for his dedication to preserving veterans’ history through his work at the VFW Suffolk County WWII & History Museum, as well as his efforts promoting environmental sustainability through community recycling projects. Congratulations, Trevor!
