Rocky Point’s incoming third graders got an exciting first look at Joseph A. Edgar Intermediate School during a visit ahead of the start of the school year.

Students had the opportunity to meet Principal Mrs. Pletka, Assistant Principal Mr. Paquette, their third grade teachers and other building staff. They also got a sneak peek inside their new classrooms and participated in a scavenger hunt to help them get familiar with the halls and different spaces throughout the building. The adventure ended on a sweet note, with students enjoying shaved ice generously provided by the PTA.

We look forward to welcoming our newest third graders to Joseph A. Edgar Intermediate School and watching them make memories in their new school!
