Rocky Point High School senior Maya McCarthy was among 10 Long Island high schoolers who received scholarships from the Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame.

JAE’s Moving Up ceremony recognized 190 students who will transition from fifth grade to Rocky Point Middle School in September as sixth graders.

Third grader Erios Pikramenos, used his inquisitive mind, some skills he learned in STEM classes, and the Summer Olympics as inspiration to enter the 2025 Brookhaven National Laboratory Science Fair.
