Rocky Point Middle School students visited the Suffolk County Police Department headquarters in Yaphank for its annual Police Week demonstrations and exhibits on May 2.
The students joined police officers at various exhibits and demonstrations that included emergency equipment displays, a tour of the Police Museum and a motorcycle demonstration. They also had an opportunity to meet the K-9 and crime scene teams and check out the helicopter and marine bureau exhibits.
